Nolan comes to us from a southern WV shelter. The shelter was nearing capacity, and Nolan was marked #1 (next) for euthanasia. We agreed to save him from certain death. He's a good guy, and certainly does not deserve to die for space in a kennel.
Foster update: Nolan is super friendly, and just a very happy dog! He's also a cuddlebug!
The Treeing Walker Coonhound has descended from English & American foxhounds. They are clever, confident, intelligent, affectionate, loving & trainable. Males normally weigh 50-70 pounds. They require lots of outdoor activities and enjoy a life of action. Nolan will require a physical fence. He is not a fan of our feline friends.
