Paws Crossed Dog Rescue serves the Eastern Panhandle of WV and surrounding communities.  Please read ADOPTION INFO on the left side of our website to learn about the adoption process.  

Owen is one of Lotus' babies.  Lotus was part of a hoarding case in southern WV.  We were able to pull her out of that situation just in time for her to have her puppies in a safe, clean, and loving environment.  

Mother of the pups (Lotus) is a Japanese Chin.  We believe the father was a miniature Aussie.  You be the judge.

We will not adopt Owen into an environment that uses underground or electric fences.  This is not negotiable.  There are certain and absolute requirements regarding puppies.  You'll find those under "Adoption Info" on the left side of our website.

Owen is submissive around other dogs.  He loves to be held, loves to give kisses, and is an "old soul" kind of dog.  His house training skills are a "work in progress."  He's a very gentle, loving dog.  

We do require that one of our volunteers does a home visit as part of the adoption application process.  If we are not able to do the home visit, we will not move forward with the application to adopt.  

Spay/Neuter of pups must happen before they are 9 months old, and will be at the expense of the adopter.  

No, of course, they are not house trained.  They're babies.

We do not know how they'd be with cats.
