Farrah comes to us as an owner surrender.  There was a death in the family and they simply could no longer care for her and made the right decision to seek help in her placement.

She is a submissive girl, fine with other dogs and lived with a host of barn cats, but we have not officially cat-tested her.  She's shy, and is just learning how to walk on a leash/harness.  She's afraid of steps, but we're working on that.  She does fine in the car, but drools a lot.  She has not had any accidents in the house, but it's too soon to really comment on her house training skills.  Expect accidents with any new dog in a new home. 

She will need lots of patience, time, love, and a yard with a physical fence.  We no longer adopt to homes that use electronic or underground fencing.  

She will be spayed prior to adoption.  Because of a lag time in scheduling vet appointments, the spay will likely not happen until mid to late November.  Please be patient with the adoption time process.
