Cupcake comes to us as an owner surrender because there was a death in the family.  We think she's around 2 years old, and weighs about 8 pounds. We think she's a "Chorkie" - Yorkie/Chihuahua mix.  You be the judge!

Cupcake is a really nice girl.  She loves to cuddle with her human, and is shy.  Her favorite place is on the couch with her human.  She does fine with other dogs, but we have not cat-tested her.  

She was used to doing "her business" on her previous owner's deck, so she's very unfamiliar with grass and being outside. Leash / harness training is a work in progress, as these are all new to her.  She'll need lots of patience, love, and understanding as she acclimates to a new environment.  House training is also a work-in-progress.  As with any new dog in your home, expect accidents while they learn a new routine and about a new space. She'll require a physical fence.

She will be spayed prior to adoption.  Because timing of vet appointments is taking long than normal, we may not be able to have her spay surgery done before mid to late November, after which we will schedule an adoption.  Please be patience with the adoption process.
