Hans comes to us from southern WV, where he was in a shelter after being dumped at a coal mine site.  We think he's about 2 years old, maybe a little younger.  His coat is thick and luxurious, so we think he's an Akita / Australian Shepherd mix, but you be the judge.  He does fine around other dogs, but he's never been around cats.  

He's a super friendly guy, loves everyone.  He needs some work on "down," as he gets excited easily & wants to jump up.  That's ok, though.  He just wants some love!  We'd call his house training skills a work in progress.

We will not place him into a home that uses any style of electronic fencing.
