Bixley must have a fenced in yard.

Bixley comes to us from southern WV, where he was used as breeding stock and was surrendered by the breeder to our rescue.  He's really calm, almost meek, and a little scared after all he's been through with moving.  We're 100% confident that he'll come out of his shell in a week or less, as they all normally do.  As with all new shelter dogs that come into our rescue, we consider his house training skills as a work in progress.  He likes toys!  He is new to a leash, so he's a little scared about that.

Bixley will need a canine companion to thrive in a new home.
He also responds and connects with female humans vs. males.
