Paws Crossed Dog Rescue serves the Eastern Panhandle of WV and nearby areas.  Please read "Adoption Info" on the left side of our website before submitting an adoption application.

We were told "Japanese Chin / Peke mix." 

This beautiful dog comes to us from a hoarding situation in southern WV.  We consider this dog to be a Puppy Mill Dog.  Puppy mill dogs are often scared, and not familiar with human touch, being on grass, or being on a leash.  They are terrified of almost everything.  They are not house trained.  We do not know how they'd be with cats or kids. 

Because puppy mill dogs can be a flight risk, we absolutely will require that they have a secure, structured, and physical fence.  We will absolutely not put them in a home that uses any style of electric, underground, or invisible fencing.  That's out of the question, and not negotiable.

Lotus gave birth to 4 healthy puppies on 3/29/18.
She will be available for adoption once her pups are around 10 weeks old, so late May / early June.
