Paws Crossed Dog Rescue serves the Eastern Panhandle of WV and nearby areas.  Please read "Adoption Info" on the left side of our website to learn about the adoption process.

Timmy comes to us from southern WV, where he was found as a stray.  He's a tiny little boy, at about 13 pounds.  He's great with other dogs, and is a total lapdog.  He's easy-going, loves to go on walks, and does well in the car.  We don't know how he is with cats.

He is easy on a leash, and is crate trained.  He's very shy when he first meets new people, and he is terrified of kids.  We think he may have been taunted by children in his past.  

Timmy is an extreme flight risk, and will require a sturdy, secure, physical fence.

Timmy will require multiple meet & greets with any potential family prior to a final adoption.  This may mean that over the course of 2 months, the potential adopter meets Timmy in a public place for an hour or 2 each time.  Timmy will not be placed in a home that has children under 18 years of age, or a household who has children under 18 that visit the home.  He is terrified of children.
